“Bree was so helpful from the beginning of inquiring for information through to the end of our elopement. I was so nervous but she was able to create a relaxing and fun experience in capturing the love of a couple that has been endless in time. She had the capability of setting a stage and we had fun playing the part!! Her photos capture her love of photography. I would love the experience of working with Bree again….”

Frequently Asked Questions

I just got engaged! What do I do now?

What is the difference between an elopement and an intimate wedding?

What is your photography style?

I do my best work in nature – it’s where I feel the most creative and the most inspired. I love photographing in the warm light of golden hour (the hour immediately after sunrise and immediately before sunset). I don’t believe in awkward or stiff posing. During your wedding day, I am first and foremost a documentarian. During family photos and also during the portrait portions of the day, I give simple prompts that involve movement, and usually will add in a few editorial-style poses as well. My editing style can best be described as neutral, earthy, and filmy. If there’s a distraction in the image I will edit it out, but I will not alter your appearance – you’re beautiful just the way you are. Check out the before and after photos for a better visual.

Can you send me a gallery of your work to look at before I book you?

How far in advance should I book with you?

It all depends on what package or session you’re booking! In general, the sooner you book the better. I don’t book weddings more than one season in advance – currently in 2025 I am booking through Fall of 2026. That being said, even if your wedding is coming up in the next few months, don’t hesitate to reach out – I just might still have your date open! For sessions I usually book one or two months in advance, but again the sooner you book the better.

What if I want to book you for a 4 hour elopement day?

I know firsthand how hectic things can get on your wedding day – even with a small wedding or elopement (my husband and I had an intimate wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park ourselves), and the very last thing I want you to worry about on your wedding day is having enough time to take pictures. That’s why even for simple elopements I don’t book anything shorter than 6 hours of coverage.

Since you’re so involved in the wedding planning process, do I still need to hire a wedding planner?

Just because you hire a wedding planner does not mean I won’t support you as you plan your wedding. Wedding planners can help take so much stress off your plate (which is always a good thing!). Planning weddings is also their literal job, and they’re much better at it than I am. If you do choose to hire a wedding planner for your elopement or intimate wedding, make sure you hire someone who specializes in the type of wedding you want to have – planning an elopement is very different than planning a 300+ guest ballroom wedding! Also, the amount of help I give you with planning your wedding is completely up to you. All of my wedding clients receive my wedding planning guide, which includes a wedding planning checklist, timeline tips, and how to get amazing photos of your wedding day (as well as amazing inspo photos!). But when you hire me to photograph your wedding or elopement, you get me and I am always available for questions or to bounce ideas off of or even to vent if something is stressing you out.

Elopement Vendors I Love

I have included in this list both vendors that I’ve loved working with in the past as well as vendors I would love to work with in the future. On this list, you will only find vendors that I would honestly hire for my own wedding if I had the chance to plan it again. My goal is that this list will grow as I discover new vendors located in Northwest Arkansas who specialize in elopements and who prioritize helping you plan the sustainable wedding of your dreams.
